Time offset

The “Time offset” functionality in the InputWP plugin enables you to set a time interval in minutes to advance the next available time slot. This feature works particularly well when the option to disable past dates is also enabled, as it ensures that the available times are relevant and aligned with the current time.

How to use

  1. Accessing the Feature:
    • Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
    • Navigate to “InputWP” in the left-hand menu.
    • Click on “All Events.”
    • Locate the event for which you want to set a time offset.
    • Click on “View Details” under the “Time picker” section of the event.
  2. Setting the Time Offset: On the event details page, within the “Time picker” section, you will find an input field labeled “Time offset” In this field, you can define the time interval in minutes by which the next available time slot should be advanced.
  3. Saving Changes: After specifying the desired time offset, click on the “Update” button to save the changes you’ve made, including the time offset setting.

Benefits of Setting a Time Offset

  • Relevance of Available Times: By setting a time offset, you ensure that the next available time options are relevant and aligned with the current time. This is particularly valuable when combined with the option to disable past dates.
  • Efficient Scheduling: Users are presented with available times that are convenient and suitable, streamlining the scheduling process.

Using the “Time offset” feature, you can fine-tune the time picker to offer users options that are timely and in line with their scheduling needs.
