Theme

The “Theme” functionality in the InputWP plugin allows you to choose the visual appearance of the date/time picker. You can select a predefined default theme or create a custom theme with customized labels, colors, and fonts to match your website’s design.

How to use

  1. Accessing the Feature: To use the “Theme” functionality, follow these steps:
    • Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
    • Navigate to “InputWP” in the left-hand menu.
    • Click on “Settings.”
    • Go to the “Theme” section.
  2. Selecting a Theme: On the “Theme” settings page, you will find radio buttons for two theme options:
    • Default (xdsoft): Selecting this option will apply the default styling from the xdsoft library to the date/time picker. This is a quick way to have a consistent look with a well-designed default theme.
    • Custom: Selecting this option will expand the page, revealing additional controls for Labels, Colors, and Font. You can create a custom theme by adjusting these settings to match your website’s design and branding.
  3. Customizing the Custom Theme: If you choose the “Custom” theme, you will find controls for Labels, Colors, and Font. Adjust these settings according to your preferences to create a unique appearance for the date/time picker.
  4. Saving Changes: After selecting the desired theme option or customizing a custom theme, click on the “Save” button to save the changes you’ve made, including the theme selection and customizations.

Benefits of Choosing a Theme

  • Visual Consistency: By choosing a theme, you ensure a consistent and visually appealing appearance for the date/time picker that aligns with your website’s design.
  • Branding and Design Integration: With the custom theme option, you have the freedom to adapt the date/time picker’s appearance to match your website’s branding and design.

Using the “Theme” feature, you can easily control the aesthetics of the date/time picker and create a cohesive user experience that reflects your website’s identity.
