The display inline feature in the InputWP plugin allows you to choose whether the date/time picker is displayed inline or as a dropdown when you interact with the input field. This feature provides flexibility in how you present the picker to your users.
How to use
- Accessing the feature:
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
- Navigate to “InputWP” in the left-hand menu.
- Click on “All Events.”
- Locate the event for which you want to configure the picker’s display mode.
- Click on “View Details” under the “Introduction” section of the event.
- Toggle display mode: On the event details page, you will find the “Display Inline” feature. Here, you have the option to enable or disable the inline display mode. The following steps guide you through this process:
- Locate the toggle switch button labeled “Display Inline.”
- By default, the inline display is disabled, meaning the picker will appear as a dropdown when you click the input field.
- To enable inline display, simply click the toggle switch button to turn it on.
- Viewing the Inline Picker: Once you have enabled the inline display mode, the input field will be hidden. Instead, the date/time picker will be shown inline, directly within the event details page. This can provide a more seamless experience for your users.
- Reverting to Dropdown Display: If you decide to switch back to the dropdown display mode, return to the event details page, and toggle off the “Display Inline” option.
- Saving Changes: After you’ve made your choice regarding the display mode, click on the “Update” button to save the changes you’ve made, including the display mode.
